If you use Handysafe, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and interaction history at any time.
To initiate a manual or automated data deletion request, please follow these instructions:
- Email Request: Send an email from your registered email address to hello@handysafe.co.uk with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Required Details: In the body of the email, you must provide the specific mobile telephone number (including country code, e.g., +44) that you use to interact with the Handysafe WhatsApp bot.
- Data Removed: Upon receipt and verification of your request, Handysafe will permanently purge all identity records, location data, job media (photos/videos), and chat transcripts from our AWS data stores within 30 days, except where data must be retained to comply with legal, regulatory, or active insurance audit requirements.
- Alternative Method: You can also trigger an automated request thread by typing and sending the word “DELETE MY DATA” directly into your active WhatsApp chat with the Handysafe bot.
